Our Mission is to Serve
Clean Hands and a Pure Heart, an outreach ministry currently seeking non-profit 501(c)3 status, seeks to passionately pursue changed life by ministering spiritually and physically to the homeless and disadvantaged of South-Central Arkansas while broadening community awareness and involvement with the homeless in Jesus’ name.
Vision
The Ultimate vision is Salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ for all. The Earthly vision is to bridge the gap between hope and reality by providing spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational restoration and enhancement to all of God’s people through the love of Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
We all are called to labor in the ‘vineyard of the Lord’. Though different times, different talents, different functions, we have one mission: to actively work in the building of the Kingdom of God.
We believe that all people are created and loved by God; therefore, we must act in ways that respect the dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth of every person.
We believe that people have priority over money, structures, systems and other institutions.
We believe that the natural expression of loving God is to show love to others.
To Sum It Up
Basically, we are a group of believers from a very small town who are working to meet the needs of the homeless and disenfranchised. Our goal is to let the love of Jesus Christ show more through our actions than through our words – leading people to Christ and seeing lives changed.
Giving All the Glory to God..
Because we are the hands and feet, and we are working to further His kingdom. To date (April 20, 2011), we have:
Witnessed – 1 Healing, 1 Rededication and 5 Salvations; Reconnected 2 people with their families by helping them relocate back to their hometowns both in and out of state.
Future Endeavors
Plans are being made to expand our ministry to the Hot Springs area.In addition to this expansio
n, we are also looking to purchase (or accept a donation) both a Passenger Van and a Box Truck. The Passenger Van will be used to transport those we serve and to house materials for delivery. And, the Box Truck will be converted into a Mobile Shower Unit so that our homeless friends will have the means and opportunity to take a nice hot shower.
